What I do at Tiro
I am accountable for ensuring we smash our targets and continue our ambitious scale-up journey. I lead our Business Development team, seeking out new customers that Tiro need to work with - and who need to work with us! I report directly to David Willett, our Chief Commercial Officer, and support with the development and execution of our Commercial Strategy.
I love being a leader - but I live to sell! I am happiest when in complex and challenging negotiations with customers, working in a team of Tiro experts, and implementing our proven consultative sales methodology. I am passionate about sales - driven to land complex, high-value deals that fuel the growth of Tiro, create real ROI for our customers, and amazing opportunities for our apprentices.

Who am I?
I started my career as a nightclub promoter and host. If you think selling to groups of people you've never met is tough - try doing it when they're drunk! This experience sparked my passion for sales, which has only grown (I'm a true sales nerd!)
Over the last 7.5 years at Tiro, I've had the chance to work with a very diverse range of customers, developing and implementing apprenticeship programmes that truly add value to their organisation and employees. I've worked across the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Scientific Research, Industrial and Specialty Chemicals, Construction (Major Infrastructure), and Environmental Monitoring/Impact industries (to name a few).
In 2023, I completed my Senior Leader Master's Degree apprenticeship which featured an MBA through the Open University. It was a truly impactful learning experience that accelerated my journey to becoming a Senior Leader at Tiro.

Advice for prospective candidates
We're looking for candidates experienced in complex enterprise sales - but who are also willing to get stuck in to enable to hit our targets. You need to be ambitious and fully bought in to our mission as an organisation - to change lives through Science and Technology apprenticeships.
